Flam Rudiments is a whole category in the PAS (Percussive Art Society) 40 Rudiments. Once you learn the flam (through proper height and volume contrast), then you can learn additional flam rudiments which build on the flam. Some of them have the same hand follow the initial flam; others have the opposite hand follow the initial flam hand.
