Larrie Londin Scholarship Concert Video
Dom Famularo: "The Larrie Londin Scholarship Concert Video is the documentation of a wonderful event I participated in to memorialize the great Nashville drummer Larrie Londin. A full blown tribute concert was held at Texas Christian University March 1999. Performing with me were Terry Bozzio, Will Calhoun, Chester Thompson, and the Hip Pickles. Sabian filmed the event and it is now available on video. All the proceeds from the sale of the video go to the Larrie Londin Memorial Scholarship offered through the Percussive Arts Society.
It is a wonderful cause that benefits all young drumset players with support for their musical studies The video itself is 90 minutes of blazing drumming with the TCU big band featuring myself and the other artists soloing and playing classic big band arrangements.
