The Jeff Indyke Progressive Odd-Time; Funk; Rock and Fusion Play-A-Long Tape Series

These tapes are specifically geared for the drummer or percussionist to develop their playing style in various formats. These are my own original full arrangements. I have recorded them with no drum part. I have included a few reference percussionparts, but for the most part, the Drumming will be totally up to you!!

Since some of these arrangements incorporate more than one time signature, I have included time charts to follow along with. These arrangements are very hip rhythmically and will stimulate total individual creativity. For a reference aid, I have also included the tracks with some interesting drum parts. I have spaced them in a more open way so you can also play a long with these tracks as well.

Here I extensively cover many rides, rhythms, fills, solos; left hand melodies; dropping bombs; odd-time and a tremendous selection of improvisation sequences. The stylistic developments & systems here are identical to "The Genetic Funk DVD Series". After I completed the first 5 DVD's, I literally had 100's of remaining themes. Creatively, I wanted to continue so I did these as one huge melting pot-type brainstorm. During this series, I did a lot of genetic fusing, using different Drummers molded as one! I did a lot on groove; solo; rhythmical improvisation; and motif sequencing.
