DAN'S DRUM CLINICS

"Dan's visit was an inspiration to my percussion students. They loved his demonstration and the smiles on their faces while he was playing were amazing. Afterwards he showed them the basic rudiments he'd used and helped every student perform them. He made every student feel capable and important. We look forward to having Dan come back soon." - Nancy Horowitz (Music/Band Director, Paterson PS27)

Why arrange for a drum clinic in your school?
I realize how busy a music teacher can be. As a professional drummer, my clinics and my master classes are designed to inspire, motivate and assist your students. Each one is adapted to meet the needs of the teacher and students.

The goal of clinics and master classes:
Simply bringing a clinician to your school is not only beneficial to your music students, it's also a huge step for the drumming education.

The goal of the clinician is to assist the music teacher and all his students. Meeting with a professional drummer will help and motivate your students, and show them the finer points of drumming.

Clinics ... Master Classes ... What's the difference?
The Master Classes are only offered to the percussion students and the content is centered on technique. During the master classes, students receive demonstrations to go along with their lessons. But best of all, The students actually take part in the lesson.

The Clinics are offered to complete music groups. Given the diversity of the musicians, the content is centered on the presentation of the drums in addition to other more general subjects, such as practicing, commitment, playing as a group and being able to follow the conductor. During the clinics, the students are always entitled to a full performance. There's also the possibility of spending additional time with the percussionists at the end of the demonstrations.
